Union Homes Savings and Loans Plc, is the mortgage-banking subsidiary of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc. The Institution was incorporated on November 6, 1992 and was issued a licence to carry on mortgage banking business on May 30, 1994. It commenced full operations on August 22, 1994 at its head office and premier branch located at 153, Ikorodu Road, Onipanu, Lagos.As at March 2008, the Institution’s authorized share capital stood at N5billion, while its total assets were N78.4billion. Union Homes offers a wide range of mortgage and banking services. These include, savings, deposits/bankers acceptances, mortgage loans, (commercial loans and National Housing Fund loans) and Pension-Linked Mortgage Scheme loans. After its successful rights issue, the shareholder’s fund has grown to about N10.2billion. The Company is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
