Pilot Finance Limited was incorporated in July, 1988 and obtain the CBN license to operate as a Bureau De Change in July 1989.The Company thereafter obtained the CBN Finance Company License in April, 1993.In 1993 the company was licensed by both the Securities & Exchange Commission and the Nigeria Stock Exchange as a broker/Dealer and dealing member respectively.The company currently has an authorized share capital of N50 million out of which N36.5 million has been paid up (as at 2009).The company is a major shareholder in Pilot Securities Limited, a dealing member of the Nigeria Stock Exchange with a paid up capital of N200 million.The company through its subsidiary – Pilot Bureau De Change is also a major player in the foreign exchange market.
