C & I Insurance Brokers Ltd. was incorporated in 1995 under the name Commercial & Industrial Int’l Insurance Brokers unlimited to transact insurance business. In the year 2000 however, the status of the company was changed to Limited Liability with a share capital of N5, 000,000 in order to comply with the provisions of the Insurance Decree of 1997.However, with the enactment of the Insurance Act of 2003, this aspect of share capital has been liberalized and therefore a Brokerage firm is allowed to operate either as a limited liability company or partnership. But we have decided to remain as a limited liability company in order to give room for expansion that will lead to comprehensive services to our clients.
