ACCORD SAVINGS & LOANS LIMITED was incorporated in September 1992, as ACCORD MORTGAGE FINANCE COMPANY LIMITED under the Company and Allied Matters Decree of 1992. The company was licensed as a primary mortgage institution in 1993 to carryout mortgage finance business and operations commenced fully in April 1993.
Our licensing was part of the Federal Government initiative to involve the Private Sector Participation in the provision of sustainable housing finance in the Nigerian market.
ACCORD SAVINGS & LOANS LIMITED was incorporated as a limited liability company with an authorized share capital of N5million made up of 5million ordinary share capital of N1 each. These shares were fully issued among its shareholders who are all Nigerians. In 1995, the authorized share capital was raised to N20million by the creation of additional 15million ordinary share of N1 each. By 1996 the authorized share capital was further raised to N40million and as date it has increased to N100million fully paid.
